Witte Dorp

The White Village is a tiny neighborhood with about 550 residents. It was built in 1922 as a temporary workers’ village. Architect Oud designed the world-famous white houses with colorful accents. The old houses are now gone, but the street layout remains. The new houses are white and live up to the original name. Life is urban yet pleasantly peaceful. Sports can be enjoyed at the Vreelust complex, or you can visit the children’s farm called De Bokkesprong.
